The variety is late-ripening. The fruits are characterized by a large size, but possess weak skin and flesh firmness, as well as mediocre taste qualities, which, combined with low keeping quality, limited its commercial distribution.
The plant is extremely susceptible to powdery mildew. Leaf rosettes and the heart of the plant are prone to freezing during the winter period. The variety was intended for the fresh produce market but was eventually replaced by more modern breeding forms.
