The variety is a hybrid of European woodland strawberry (Fragaria vesca) and Japanese wild strawberry (Fragaria iinumae). The plant is compact, distinguished by very early flowering and an upright position of flower stalks even during fruit ripening. The plant continues to bloom during the fruiting process.

The fruits possess an intense aroma characteristic of woodland strawberries. The variety is winter-hardy and high-yielding. When grown in 11 cm pots, it reaches a marketable state in 6-8 weeks. Due to active runner formation, it is suitable for use as a ground cover plant.
