The Frikonsa variety is the result of crossing the Bromba and Senga Tigaiga varieties. The fruits of this variety are characterized by medium size and some of the darkest shades of color among strawberry varieties.

Due to good mechanical stability, the variety is suitable for the processing industry, in particular, for the production of jams with whole fruits. Full ripening of the berries is required to reveal the flavor qualities. The variety is susceptible to anthracnose.
