Berries of the variety Gea possess a regular conical shape and a rich dark red color. The fruit surface is distinguished by contrasting yellow achenes. The firmness of the flesh is rated as moderate, while the skin possesses sufficient durability. The taste of the berries is characterized as slightly acidic.

The variety is used in research work and comparative trials, including programs for studying shoot regeneration in vitro, and is also included in studies on resistance to various strawberry diseases.
