The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the varieties "Cruz" and "Aiko". It belongs to the short-day variety group. The berries have a medium conical shape and are characterized by a softer consistency compared to the "Aiko" variety.

The variety is identified as homozygous for the dominant gene for resistance to Fusarium wilt (Fusarium wilt, gene Fw1). It was intended for commercial horticulture, but was superseded by more modern varieties.
