The plant is an interspecific hybrid of Fritillaria imperialis and Fritillaria raddeana. The stems reach a height of 80–100 cm and bear strap-shaped glossy green leaves.
The flowers have a bell shape and a soft yellow tint. The inflorescences are topped with a cluster of leaves resembling a tuft. The variety is early-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in March–April.
The variety is intended for ornamental gardening, including flower beds and solitary plantings, and is also considered for cut flower production. The plant requires well-drained soils and a sunny or semi-shaded protected location.
