The plant is a low-growing variety with a height of about 10 cm. It possesses small, deeply dissected leaves of a gray-green shade. The official breeding name of the variety is Noortsal; it is known in the trade under the brand Jolly Jewel Salmon.

The variety is intended for cultivation in rockeries, rock gardens, containers, or as a border plant. Flowering lasts from June to September. It is characterized by resistance to soil-borne fungal infections that exceeds the indices of other varieties of this species.
