Variety description

The plant forms a compact, bushy shrub with spreading shoots 30 to 50 cm high, sometimes reaching 70 cm. The leaves are green, lobed, with a possible acquisition of a bronze shade in the autumn period.
The flowers are large, colored in violet-blue tones with a white center and dark purple veins on the petals. The flowering period lasts from late spring or July to October.
The variety is winter-hardy (zone 4a–8b, down to -34°C). It prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with well-drained, moderately moist soil, poorly tolerates moisture stagnation and extreme heat.
