The Natan gladiolus belongs to the large-flowered varieties. The plant height varies from 100 to 140 cm; the flower spike bears from 8 to 25 flowers with a diameter of 7.5 to 15 cm, while the length of the inflorescence is 40–55 cm. The color of the petals varies from deep red and crimson-cherry to purple and lilac-pink, sometimes with a thin white stripe on the lower petals.

The variety is mid-early; flowering occurs in the period from July to September. The plant has good resistance to diseases and pests, but due to its significant height, staking the stems is often required. The variety is intended for use in cut flowers, landscaping of flower beds, flower gardens, and mixed borders.
