The variety belongs to the group of large-flowered gladioli (Gladiolus grandiflorus). The petal coloration is white; no anthocyanins responsible for red, lilac, or blue shades were detected in its composition.

Physiologically, the variety is characterized by "weak dormancy" (weak dormant cultivar) of the corms. Studies of the flower's metabolic composition show a specific level of organic acids and sugars, distinct from other varieties.

Used as an ornamental crop, including for cut flowers. The variety should be distinguished from the gladiolus "Jaunais Vilnis", which has a different coloration.
