The flowers of the variety are large, 15–18 cm in diameter, and have a yellow-orange color with red strokes on the petal edges and in the center. Before opening, the buds are colored a deep red. The peduncle grows up to 100–120 cm in height, bearing an inflorescence up to 50 cm long with 10–14 buds.
The plant blooms from July to August or September and lasts for 3–4 weeks. The variety is characterized by being undemanding and having flower resistance to weather conditions, including heat and rain. The plant is thermophilic and requires annual bulb lifting for storage in regions with sub-zero winter temperatures.
