The Romy variety belongs to the Glamini group of compact, small-flowered gladioli. The plant reaches a height of about 60 cm, which is significantly shorter than classic large-flowered varieties. The flowers have a raspberry-red color with distinct violet-purple undertones.
Due to its compact habit, the variety does not require staking, which allows it to be grown in containers and pots, as well as used as a cut flower crop. The corms are not winter-hardy in temperate climates and require annual lifting for the winter period.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
