The plants of the variety have a tall, erect or semi-erect habit with purple flowers and yellow-brown stem pubescence. The variety is distinguished by rapid initial growth and a height of the lowest pod attachment convenient for harvesting.

The seeds have a medium-brown coat and a dark-brown hilum. The variety contains about 43% nitrogenous substances. The appearance and size of the cooked seeds resemble brown beans.

The variety is resistant to lodging, moderately resistant to bacterial diseases, and possesses medium to high resistance to downy mildew. Good resistance to pod shattering is noted.
