The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization in 1991, followed by the selection of individual plants in the F3 generation and the study of progeny rows in the F4 generation. Between 1994 and 1997, the variety underwent a series of field trials for yield and fiber quality indicators.

The plant belongs to mid-season varieties. Key economic characteristics include good adaptation to local growing conditions, resistance to bacterial blight, and high quality indicators of the produced fiber.
