The variety was obtained by crossing the allotetraploid Gossypium thurberi Tod. and Gossypium raimondii Ulbr. The plant belongs to the early-maturing group, its growing season lasts from 106 to 111 days. The variety is intended for the textile industry.
During trials, a high yield of seed cotton was confirmed, exceeding the performance of standard varieties. The fiber turnout is about 38.6%.
