The variety belongs to the species Gossypium hirsutum L. and is characterized by a cylindrical plant habit. Under optimal moisture levels, the variety is capable of producing a fiber yield of up to 0.99 t/ha. Under conditions of moderate moisture deficit, the plant retains up to 75–79% of its maximum productivity, although the variety is more demanding regarding irrigation regimes than some analogs.

Inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi positively affects the development of the variety, increasing plant height, the number of bolls, and total yield. The variety is non-GMO and is often used in scientific research as a reference sample when evaluating various agrotechnical practices and irrigation methods.
