The plant possesses a semi-smooth leaf with a reduced number of trichomes and average internode length, while responding effectively to the application of growth regulators.

Quality indicators include fiber strength of 21.0–21.4 g/tex, fiber turnout of 39.3–40.3%, and a seed cotton weight per boll of approximately 5.7 g. The variety is being studied within the framework of breeding programs for ensuring resistance to bacterial blight.

The plant is an upland cotton type, selectively bred on the basis of Stoneville 42-41688 and Stoneville 804-41055 lines for commercial cultivation.
