The variety has a high boll weight and very good fiber strength. Technical characteristics indicate a low degree of boll opening, as well as the absence or sparse pubescence of seeds. Fiber length is classified as very short.

Breeding characteristics of the variety are aimed at ensuring tolerance to drought, saline and alkaline soils, as well as resistance to Verticillium wilt. The variety is the result of a breeding program focused on fiber production in the Mediterranean region.
