The variety was obtained by exposing the source material of line C-9070 to gamma radiation. It demonstrates high productivity and stability of traits under various environmental conditions, exceeding the performance of standard varieties in a number of trials.

The fiber turnout is about 36.1%. The variety is actively used in breeding programs as genetic material to improve boll weight, overall productivity, and fiber quality.
