The Kolorit variety was created as a result of breeding work combining stabilized Gossypium hirsutum and Gossypium barbadense lines with Gossypium hirsutum varieties. The main breeding objective in creating the variety was to improve fiber quality characteristics.
During scientific comparative trials, the variety demonstrated distinctive genetic parameters, as well as specific fiber yield and length indicators. The variety underwent field trials to evaluate productivity and yield stability of the seeds.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
