The plant is medium-tall, conical in shape with palmate leaves, on which gossypol glands and nectaries are present. Forms with a smooth leaf type are encountered, providing tolerance to whitefly. The flowers have cream-colored petals. The bolls are medium-sized, oval, with strong opening; the raw cotton weight in one boll is about 5.8 g.
The growing season is 125–130 days. The variety requires a sum of active temperatures not lower than 3200 °C and demonstrates a potential yield of 25–30 c/ha. It is resistant to a number of diseases.
Fiber type is long-staple. Fiber length is 28–30 mm, fiber turnout varies from 44% to 46%, strength is 32–36 g/tex with average fineness. The variety is intended for industrial fabric production.
