The variety belongs to the mid-maturing group. The plant is a legume with a deep taproot, succulent stems, and leaves that have pubescence on the underside. The flowers are red or pink in hue.

The variety possesses high productivity, providing about 9 tons of dry matter per hectare. The forage mass contains condensed tannins, which improve protein digestibility and prevent bloat in ruminants.

The crop is intended for hay, silage, and pasture use in regions with a Mediterranean climate. The variety shows high drought tolerance, but does not tolerate waterlogged or saline soils.
