The French hybrid Oscar was registered in the 1990s and is intended for grain use. Detailed morphological characteristics of this hybrid are not provided in open descriptive lists due to its status as an archived breeding development.

The Serbian hybrid NS Oscar is ultra-early, with a growing season of 90–95 days and a plant height of 160–180 cm. The hybrid belongs to the high-oleic type with an oil content of 46–49%, is resistant to lodging, drought, a number of diseases, and Orobanche cumana races A–G++. It is intended for cultivation using the Granstar technology.
