Variety description

The foliage of the variety has a dark shade, described as black, dark burgundy, or dark cherry-chocolate. The plant forms a compact basal rosette 25–50 cm in height and 40–50 cm in diameter. During the summer months, paniculate inflorescences with small white or white-pink bell-shaped flowers appear on the peduncles.

The variety grows vigorously in partial shade conditions on well-drained fertile soils. The plant is frost-resistant, withstands USDA zones 4–9, possesses resistance to diseases, and is sensitive to stagnant moisture. It is used for creating contrasting compositions, designing mixed borders, and growing in containers.
