Variety description

The plant forms a dense, compact rosette 15–20 cm tall; total height including flower stalks is 25–40 cm. The leaves have a characteristic strongly ruffled margin and a color ranging from lemon-yellow to chartreuse. Small cream-white flowers are gathered in paniculate inflorescences; the flowering period lasts from May to June, sometimes until August.

The variety has a moderate growth rate and good winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9. The plant is low-maintenance but sensitive to excessive moisture stagnation and severe soil drying. In landscape design, it is used for decorating formal flower beds, borders, rock gardens, and for container cultivation; planting in partial shade is preferred.
