The plant reaches 20–25 cm in height, with flower stalks up to 50–60 cm. The leaves have a wrinkled surface; in spring they are amber-colored, while in summer they acquire ginger and golden shades. Flowers are small, bell-shaped, and bloom in early-mid summer.

The variety forms a dense bush and is suitable for borders, rock gardens, containers, and groundcover plantings. It possesses resistance to salt, deer, and rabbits, and is winter-hardy in USDA zones 4–9. Prefers partial shade and well-drained soils rich in organic matter.
