Variety description

The plant forms a dense rosette of leaves 15–20 cm high, which reaches 60–80 cm during flowering, including the flower stalks. The leaves are rounded or ovate, with five to seven lobes, a cordate base, and a leathery, wrinkled surface.
The foliage color undergoes changes: in spring, young leaves have a bright red or burgundy hue, which darkens over time to a saturated brown or purple color with a silver dusting. Small bell-shaped flowers of coral-pink or bright red color are gathered in paniculate inflorescences.
The variety belongs to USDA hardiness zones 4–9 and exhibits drought tolerance after rooting. The flowering period occurs in June-July; repeat flowering is possible. In hot climates, the plant requires protection from direct sunlight.
