Variety description

The plant forms a dense rosette 20–40 cm high and 45–55 cm wide. The leaves are large, palmate-lobed, dense, with ruffled edges, colored in pinkish-purple or violet tones with dark veining. Small pink flowers are gathered in paniculate inflorescences on flower stalks up to 45–60 cm high; the flowering period lasts from May to August.
The variety is fast-growing and capable of withstanding frosts down to -25…-35 °C. The plant is undemanding, tolerates both sun and partial shade, and shows resistance to salt. It prefers well-drained soils, as rhizome rot is possible in wet areas. Used in border and group plantings, mixed borders, rock gardens, and containers.
