The variety is a hybrid of Hippeastrum lapacense × Hippeastrum papilio. The flowers are medium to large in size and are colored in chestnut-red and red tones on a cream background. The plant possesses high growth vigor characteristic of hybrid forms.

This cultivar has become widespread in the cut flower industry. Agronomic requirements correspond to standard care methods for indoor Hippeastrum. One should note the existence of another variety with the same name from the company Hadeco, which has different characteristics.
