The Barbados variety belongs to the large-flowered Hippeastrum group and has simple funnel-shaped flowers with a diameter of 15 to 22 cm. The petal color is dark red, complemented by an expressive white center and white veins extending to the middle of the petals. 3–5 flowers are formed on one sturdy flower stalk 40–60 cm tall.
The plant is intended for pot cultivation and cut flowers. Flowering occurs 6–8 weeks after planting the bulb, usually in the winter or spring period. The variety does not tolerate freezing temperatures, requires a well-drained substrate, and adherence to a dormancy period after flowering ends.
