The variety Loyalty belongs to tall hippeastrums with a scape height of about 80 cm. The plant is characterized by large red flowers and is sometimes classified as part of the Galaxy group.

The variety is grown as an ornamental pot plant and used for cut flower production. Its flowering is often associated with the winter period, although the produce is available on the market for many months.
