The variety is a hybrid of the species Hippeastrum lapacense × Hippeastrum papilio. The flowers have a diameter of 14–17 cm, petals are oblong-oval in shape with pointed tips, colored cream with veins of chestnut, cherry, or mahogany shades, and the throat of the flower is greenish.

The plant height is 45–60 cm. The flower stalks are rigid, grey-green in color, sometimes with a purple tint. Each flower stalk forms from 2 to 6 flowers. The plant is used both in pot culture and for cut flowers.
