The flowers of the Rosy Star variety have a simple star shape and reach 18–22 cm in diameter. The plant has strap-shaped, dark green, glossy foliage. The bulb is capable of producing 2 to 3 flower stalks, with 4–5 buds formed on each.

The variety belongs to the category of large-flowered hippeastrums. Flowering occurs 6–10 weeks after planting the bulb. The plant is characterized by sturdy tubular flower stalks and is used for interior landscaping, winter forcing, or cultivation in the open field in a warm climate.
