Flowers are single, large, 15–20 cm in diameter, bright red in color with a wide white border along the edge of the petals and a white central ray. The throat of the flower is greenish with white streaks. The plant's leaves are bright green, linear, and flower stalks reach a height of 40–60 cm and bear 4–6 buds.
Flowering lasts 4–5 weeks and occurs 6–12 weeks after planting; mature bulbs are capable of producing up to 3 flower stalks. The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt. Despite the strength of the flower stalks, the large inflorescences may require staking.
