The variety is a hybrid of Hippeastrum cybister with the possible involvement of Hippeastrum angustifolium. The flowers have an elegant shape with elongated petals that may curl back with age, and are colored cherry-red with a characteristic light stripe down the center.

The plant was intended for use as a houseplant and for the cut flower market. At present, the variety is considered rare in trade, and information regarding its morphometric indicators, such as scape height, is absent.
