The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work to form a working collection of the sea buckthorn gene pool. The genotype has undergone expert assessment and is officially included in the list of plants of the genetic bank of Ukraine.

In the available materials, the variety is considered as an object of scientific research. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group, plant height, or disease resistance, are not presented in the publications.
