The variety is a six-row barley obtained through a breeding combination of Cernomoreţ and Rachel. The plant is characterized by pronounced lodging resistance.
In comparative trials with the Miraj variety, a yield surplus of 8–10% was recorded, which is attributed to lodging resistance. The variety underwent testing in the conditions of the central Moldavian plateau.
