The variety was developed by specialists at the Agricultural Institute in Osijek by crossing the Kompolti korai and Osk.4.32/1-87 lines. It belongs to winter barley programs whose breeding is aimed at feed purposes and the needs of the processing industry.
Detailed agronomic characteristics of the variety, such as plant height, indicators of resistance to diseases or lodging, as well as detailed data on grain quality are not presented in open sources. The variety is mentioned mainly in lists of registered breeding achievements.
