The variety belongs to the six-row barley type and possesses a medium-length stem. The plant is characterized by good stem strength and lodging resistance, although it shows a slight tendency toward stem breakage when overripe.

The grain of this variety is distinguished by its large size for six-row barley, with protein content and test weight at an average level. The variety is intended for feed purposes.

The variety shows high resistance to Rhynchosporium secalis and net blotch. At the same time, the plant is noted to be susceptible to powdery mildew.
