The variety is a winter barley. During agrotechnical observations, the variety was characterized as lodging resistant and possessing high yield.

In scientific studies, the variety was noted for the absence of explicit powdery mildew resistance genes, and its reaction to Barley yellow dwarf virus and the fungus Typhula incarnata was recorded.
