The Cytris variety (also known as CF 25) belongs to spring crops and was used as grain material, studied for brewing properties and adaptability to various climatic conditions, including trials in Syria.
Morphologically, the variety was characterized by a relatively low density of productivetillers, compensated by a large number of grains per ear and high grain weight. Currently, the variety has been withdrawn from active agricultural rotation and is found as breeding material.
