The variety is characterized as a spring barley obtained as a result of breeding work by the company Sejet Planteforædling. Its pedigree is based on the crossing of lines Newgrange and SJ 2256.
During studies, the variety demonstrated relatively low yield in pure stands, which is why it was used mainly in experiments for studying barley variety mixtures. Its potential ability to maintain productivity under conditions of elevated temperatures and CO2 levels was noted.
Detailed morphological characteristics, such as precise plant height, as well as comprehensive agronomic data on resistance to diseases or lodging, are not presented in open sources.
