The Faustina variety is a spring barley that passed state trials and was entered into agricultural plant registers in a number of European countries during the 2003–2004 period.

Currently, the variety is considered archival, therefore detailed agronomic characteristics are presented in open sources to a limited extent. It is known that Faustina was used in breeding activities as a parent form for the development of other barley varieties.
