The variety is a two-row winter barley with an intermediate or semi-prostrate growth habit. The ear is of medium length, parallel shape, and loose or medium density; the awns are of medium or long length. Heading occurs in early or medium periods.
The plant demonstrates good resistance to fungal and viral diseases, as well as high winter hardiness, although a tendency to lodging is noted in several reports. The grain is characterized by a high test weight and large size.
The variety is intended for use in brewing, in particular, for the production of craft-style beer.
