The barley variety «Гелиос» (sometimes «Гелиос УА») is a spring crop. Based on its morphological and economic characteristics, it is classified as a mid-season, medium-tall, multi-row variety intended for feed.
In scientific literature, the variety is used in studies of plant physiological processes, in particular when examining the influence of growth regulators and micro-fertilizers on yield. The antifungal activity of root system exudates of this variety is also being studied.
