The variety «Izgrev» is a winter six-row barley form. In agronomic research, this variety is traditionally classified as fodder and often serves as a standard variety when performing comparative evaluations of new lines and varieties in Bulgaria.
The yield of the variety in field experiments was recorded at approximately 5.09 t/ha. Grain quality assessment includes determination of thousand kernel weight and protein content, while detailed quantitative morphological characteristics are provided primarily in the context of specific comparative trials.
