The variety is a two-row spring barley, which is classified as an improved cultivar. During testing, it demonstrated a high level of grain yield in comparison with control groups of varieties.

The plant is characterized by a low propensity for lodging, as well as low susceptibility to stem breakage and ear snapping during over-ripening. The variety has low susceptibility to leaf spot, however, it shows susceptibility to Heterodera avenae races 1 and 2.

The material is used in scientific research on fungal diseases as a valuable parental component for breeding for disease resistance. The variety is included in genetic resource collections under the number NGB 16665.
