The variety belongs to the six-row barley type. In agronomic research, it is considered a valuable genetic material for breeding programs and an object for studying adaptation to various environmental conditions.

The plant is photoperiod-sensitive; its vegetation is characterized by low activity until specific conditions are met. The variety exhibits resistance to a number of Pyrenophora graminea leaf stripe isolates, with the reaction to the pathogen evaluated as intermediate in a number of tests. The variety is also used in experimental work to study the effect of salt stress on the crop.
