The variety is relatively late-maturing and possesses a longer stem compared to conventional hulled winter barley varieties. The plant is characterized by pronounced winter hardiness, resistance to loose smut, and tolerance to barley yellow dwarf virus.
An important feature of the variety is its hulless nature, due to which threshing occurs without the formation of chaff. The grain is distinguished by an extremely low degree of spotting. The variety is capable of effectively suppressing weeds due to dense shading, which makes it suitable for organic cultivation.
The plant is intended for food purposes and human consumption. Recommended sowing dates begin from mid-September, which allows the variety to develop well before the onset of the winter period, including on less fertile soils.
