The variety was bred at the Rudolf Fleischmann Research Institute in the city of Kompolt. It is a winter crop and is included in the national variety register of Hungary, as well as in the European Union common catalogue of agricultural plant species.

The variety is intended for cultivation for grain used for feed purposes. During field trials, it demonstrated productivity exceeding 9 t/ha. The variety is used in scientific research to study resistance to the pathogen Pyrenophora teres f. teres.
